| hey everyone! it's been a while since i wrote, but alas, i am here. i had a very busy 3-day weekend. it's the end of the first semester, so i got monday off because hilltop high is special. on friday I went to Renee's houyse after school, to help with her sister's bridal shower. Me, her and Tamara had lots of fun being hostesses. I spent the night and then went to Jenn's house the next day. We went to see The Fellowship of the Rings on Saturday, and then went and ate at Pat and Oscar's Restaurant. They have really good breadsticks there! On Sunday morning, as a thank you from Renee's mom, we went to brunch at Marie Callendar's and acted like little piggies. Today (Monday), Jenn and I went to work at the elementary school I volunteer at. It was grand fun, because it was rainy day schedule and we got to watch a movie. I watched The Great Mouse Detective, which I hadn't seen in years and planted carrots with the first graders. That's all I did. I will write more tomorrow, espacially since I am getting some new classes and new teachers. See ya later, alligators. Namarie! | | |
| Hey Everyone..... I guess this would be my first entry in my webjournal.... here to chronicle my descent into madness.... LOL that's too cliche. Well, here's a little something about me. I'm 15, almost 16.. only three and a half months away. I go to Hilltop High where I am a sophmore, which most of you prally already know. Today was our last day of semester one finals and I had my two hardest ones today.. I had World Cultures and Geometry. It was not fun. But tomorrow I have a pep assembly to look forward to, getting my grades and Renee's sister's wedding shower that I am helping with. GR! My newsest accomplishment in geekdom is I learned how to write in elvish runes. For all you that are too "cool" or "normal" to understand this, I just got finished reading Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, and I fell in love with elves. No, not elves like santa's elves that dance around in pointy shoes and make toys, but elves that are tall, graceful and beautiful. So, the night after I saw the movie, I looked up as much stuff as I could about elves. And I found their language and their writings. The characters in the elvish alphabet are called runes. So I memorized these and decided to teach them to my friends. Now,we write to each other in fluent elvish. It's so much fun, because some people look at you like you're crazy and writing in globblely gook, but it really means something. It might not seem much to some people, but I like it, so I wrote it down. Bear with me people please. Tomorrow, I think I will put down a list of what I want to name my baby. Until then, *so long, farewell, ..... goodnight!* | | |
